Doghouse Ensemble Theatre is proud to announce the cast for the developmental reading of the new play Thank You for Your Home by John Alexander Hatcher.

The eight-member cast will feature Ella May Hunsader (Amy Knox), Michael Liebhauser (Daniel Makarov), Birch Davis (Roy Hooper), Wayne “Juice” Mackins (Sgt. Walker), David Moses (Harrison Norwood), Jacob Herman (Jake Hill), John Brotherhood (Ensemble), and Corey Traina (Ensemble).

The reading is directed by Ashlyn Frank and assistant directed by Natalia Lee.

In the blistering cold Alaskan December, a few newly drafted college students and an army sergeant are stranded in a tattered house in a small town during World War 3 after the deadliest battle on U.S. soil, forever known as “The Battle for Alaska”. With limited food, water, and trust, escape from the looming threat of the Russian military seems impossible.

Thank You for Your Home will be performed at The John DeSotelle Studio’s NuBox Theatre, 754 9th Ave, 4th Floor, New York, NY on April 15 at 3pm and 7:30pm. Doghouse Ensemble Theatre is offering Pay-What-You-Can performances to allow our communities access to our work without being financially burdened.
