Reagan Casteel (she/her) is a composer/musician from Nashville, TN, currently based in Rochester, NY. Her theatrical experience comes in many different forms, from singing on multiple MTI Licensing Recordings (The Lion King Jr., The Lion King KIDS, The Little Mermaid Jr., James and the Giant Peach, etc.) to serving as Music Director/Accompanist for a recent production of Next to Normal (UR ROC players) to acting as Composer/Lyricist for her original song cycle, Full Circle. Some of Reagan’s favorite credits include writing music for Elizabeth Thornton’s One-Act Mirror Image, playing piano in RENT (Interlochen Arts Academy), and acting as Assistant Music Director/Accompanist for The Last Five Years (UR ROC Players). As a composer, her music has been recognized by multiple competitions, including the Interlochen Fanfare Competition (honorable mention) and the Ithaca College Jazz Composition Competition (honorable mention). Reagan received her High School Diploma from Interlochen Arts Academy, and is currently studying composition at Eastman School of Music. She is currently writing Full Circle: A Song Cycle for Doghouse Ensemble Theatre’s Incubator program.
