James Cockrell (he/him) appeared in Mass Cycle: A Meditation on Cancer with Doghouse Ensemble Theatre. He is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and currently attends the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Of his theatre credits, he cites Benny in RENT as a favorite role and influential learning experience. While at Interlochen, James developed a love for movement and physical theatre which has flourished this past year at RCS. This summer, James with be attending “Mask 3D” a renowned workshop associated with the Lecoq School taking place just outside of Paris. His most recent credits include John Dodge in Middletown and Nil in Philistines. In addition, James co-devised “Wilf and the Whale” which has begun touring at different festivals around the UK and EU! He will next be seen in “Blue Stockings” playing the role of Will.
