Leah Cohen (she/her) is a current student at Interlochen Arts Academy and is from the Bay Area of California. She has performed with Doghouse Ensemble Theatre in Elegies: A Song Cycle, and also helped with Mass Cycle: A Meditation on Cancer. Recently, she was seen as Raymonde Chandebise in Interlochen Arts Academy’s production of A Flea in Her Ear, and assistant designed the lights for the musical The Light in the Piazza (also at Interlochen Arts Academy). Some other past roles include Rennie in The Most Massive Woman Wins (Interlochen), Lucinda in Into the Woods (Peninsula Youth Theatre), Cosette in Les Misérables (PYT), and Liesl in The Sound of Music(PYT). She will be designing the lights for the upcoming Interlochen Arts Academy One-Act Festival of 2017. She spends her summers working as a research assistant in the Stanford University Psychology Department.
