Virginia May Edinger (she/her) is a junior at Purchase College where she is a double major in Theatre & Performance and Playwriting & Screenwriting. However, she does a little bit of everything, having worked as an actor, director, choreographer, singer/songwriter, playwright, set designer, and costume designer. Purchase credits include Hand to God (Margery), As You Like It(director), and The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek (Gin). Recent credits include Hamlet (Claudius, Genesius Theatre Company) and Love’s Labour’s Lost (The Princess of France, TCHH). She also directs a children’s theater program at Hubbard Hall in upstate New York where she has done five productions including Alice in Wonderland and Really Rosie. Her plays have been featured in festivals, competitions, and staged readings along the east coast. Her play G is for Gallium was a finalist in the VSA Young Playwrights Competition at the Kennedy Center. And her original comedy play, Austen-tacious is set to premiere at Purchase in Spring of 2018.
